Our clinic is looking to add to our growing team! Veterinarians who are interested in strengthening their basic vet skills and developing their interests in Cat & Dog medicine (& limited exotics: Rabbits/ Guinea pigs/ Hamsters) in a supportive environment.

Requirements

- Possesses a D.V.M, BVSc, B.V.M qualification or equivalent

- Registered under Malaysia Veterinary Council (MVC) with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)

- Fresh graduated are most welcome

- Companion animal consultations and medical case management

- Preventive healthcare and client education

- Soft tissue surgery according to experience and competency

- Diagnostic imaging interpretation (radiography and ultrasonography)

- Hospitalisation and inpatient case management

- Emergency and urgent care as required

- Occasional housecalls and afterhours

- Medical record keeping and client communication

- Participation in continuous learning and case discussions

- Opportunities to contribute to clinic development, protocols, training, quality improvement, and leadership projects according to interest and experience

Preferred candidate

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. Being honest and accountable, communicating openly, and providing early warnings when possible are crucial. Taking initiative, following through on responsibilities, and understanding that good teamwork starts with effective communication are vital. Compassion towards patients and respect for clients and colleagues are important. The ability to work independently, while knowing when to seek help, and valuing continuous improvement are key attributes.

Business Hours

Two shifts: 8:30am - 6:30pm; 11.00am - 9.00pm

Facilities

Our facility is equipped with an IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and flexible bronchoscopy. We offer cryotherapy pen services, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, and oxygen therapy alongside comprehensive hospitalisation facilities. Our dedicated inpatient ward is supported by electronic medical records and practice management software.
